Cham Museum

km from Hoian, Da Nang city is the biggest city in the central of Viet
Nam. Here has a very famous museum, Cham Museum, originally named the
Henry Parmentier Museum, was built in 1915 according to the ancient
motif of Cham architecture. The museum houses nearly 300 stone and
terracotta sculptures made between the 7th and 15th
centuries that show the impressive talents of Cham civilization. Marble
Mountain and China Beach
The
Marble Mountains, also called Ngu Hanh Son, are located approximately
15km northeast of Hoian old town, close to the sea.
In
the early 19th century, Emperor Gia Long, founder of the
Nguyen Dynasty, named the five elements of nature: Kim Son (metal), Moc
Son (wood), Hoa Son (fire), Tho Son (earth) and Thuy Son (water).
Here
visitors have opportunity to enjoy impressive structures made by human
and nature. Sure that visitors can not forget Huyen Khong grotto which has
a fresh air chamber and numerous stalactites, Tam Thai pagoda, a
exceptional religious structure was built in 1825, Vong Giang Dai
(river-viewing pavilion), from here, visitors can see the Cam Le river
meandering through the fields of Hoa Vang District ... when coming home.
Closing to the Marble Mountains, China Beach stretches for several
kilometres to the north and south of Marble Mountains. This fine sandy
beach receives a large number of sun hours throughout the year. It is a
perfect place to bathe and relax.
